Vada Joann Hollingsworth, age 82, of Fayetteville, AR passed away Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, AR. She was born January 29, 1937 in Fayetteville, the only child to Audie and Blanche Mathis.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Burl J. Hollingsworth.
Joann was a #1 Razorback fan.
Survivors include son, David Hollingsworth and wife, Anna of Tontitown; son, Burl Hollingsworth and wife, Deanna of Elm Springs; son, Richard Hollingsworth of Fayetteville; daughter, Brenda Gregory and husband, Nathan of Fayetteville; son, Leon Hollingsworth of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Jason Alston, Andy Hollingsworth and wife, Kristal, Billy Gregory and wife, Veronica, Amy Johnson and husband, Jaye, Brenda Gregory, Jodie Gardisser and husband, Travis; great-grandchildren, Rylie Branscum, Christina Boggeln, Carson Branscum, Levi Gregory, JJ Hollingsworth, Miley Gardisser, EJ Johnson, Driver Hollingsworth, Cruz Hollingsworth, Ryder Hollingsworth, Raelea Jo Gardisser and Kinsley Gardisser.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Beard’s Chapel with Ray and Russell Shackelford officiating. Private interment will follow in Delaney’s Creek Cemetery in Delaney, AR.
There is no scheduled visitation.

To family, So very sorry for your loss . I remember her when I was just a teen , she always treated me so nicely. She always was so nice when I seen her out in town as I got older. Very sweet lady.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. You have such a beautiful family, all of whom welcomed us with open arms when we were there for Christina’s and Matthew’s wedding. No doubt there is a hole in the fabric of the Hollingsworth family.
