Velta Naoma Brady, 76, of Springdale, our dearest mother, stepped into heaven, Wednesday, March 14, 2012.   She was born in Kenny Community, Arkansas the daughter of Velt and Oma Kelly Shepherd. She retired after 20 years of service at Springdale Memorial Hospital.
Preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Owen Brady and 1-brother, Remmer Shepherd.

Survivors include 1-daughter, Nan Wagner and husband, Mark of Little Rock; 1-son, Steve Brady of Springdale; 2-brothers, A.K. Shepherd and Randall Shepherd both of Bidville; 4-sisters, Lora Mullen of Elkins, Brownie Mullen of Mountain Crest, Gayle Parker of Springdale, Linda Basham of Nacogdoches, TX; 4-grandsons, Zachary Daniel Wagner, Tyler Ryan Brady, Colin Lee Wagner and Daniel Ryan Brady.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Beard’s Funeral Chapel with Rev. Paul Payne officiating. Burial will be in Bidville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5~7 PM Friday, March 16, 2012 at the funeral home.
