    Bernice,
We are so sorry for you & your family’s loss. Darrel always wanted to make sure everybody was having a good time. We remember one July 4th weekend when you & Darrel took us to a rodeo in Fayetteville. You were both such giving hosts. Darrel had a story for every occasion and the big grin & twinkle in his eyes made it all the more entertaining.
Darrel will be sorely missed. Our prayers are with you.

I am sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one in death is such a difficult thing to experience. Please be comforted by the words of Jesus at John 5:28, 29. He tells us that all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. What a loving provision put in place by the God of all comfort so we can have the assured hope of seeing our dead loved ones again one day. Meanwhile as I pray for that day to come I ask God to bless your family and give each of you the strength to endure this most trying time.

Bernice, So sorry to hear of the loss of your love, Darrel and to his family, a special son, brother, father& grandfather. My prayers and thoughts are with you all. I will truly miss his crazy smile and laugh. I only got to live close by his family for a few years in the late 50’s & early 60’s when the whole family would gather around the piano singing those gospel songs. And all the fun and trouble that Leslie, Darrel, Bruce and I could get into out in the California desert. great Memories! I will miss you cousin…

I KNOW THIS IS LATE AND MY ONLY EXCUSE IS THE LEVEL OF DRUGS I AM TAKING FOR THE FAILED BACK SURGERY, Darrel was a good friend that came by my home often – I live only a min or so from his home. I miss Darrel’s visits – I miss his humor, his dry whit, playing guitars, shooting, But most of all I just miss my friend at the other end o the cell phone. May God bless and keep him in his eternal sleep.
