Vickie Jo Laur, age 68, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026. She was born on January 4, 1958 in Nashville, TN to Betty Rickey and later adopted by Phillip Hall.

Vickie lived a life defined by kindness, generosity, and a genuine love for people. She never met a stranger and her warm, friendly spirit made everyone feel welcomed.

Vickie is survived by her brother, Robert Hall of Fairview Heights, IL; her sisters Maryanna Satter of Pyatt, AR and Julie (Terry) Cook of O’Fallon, IL; six children, Jason Jackson, Jarred (Alex) Jackson, Joseph Jackson, Michaelle (Jeffery) Ragsdale, Levi Beasley, Dylan Beasley; and her four grandchildren, Addison Joe Ragdale, Tripp Ragsdale, Peyton Beasley and Aliza Beasley.

She is preceded in death by her father, Phillip Hall; mother, Betty Rickey and step-father, Thomas Rickey.

A small private memorial will be held at a later date for close family and friends.
