William “Bill” Arnold Clark, 81, of Fayetteville, AR died Wednesday, June 29, 2022. He was born August 19, 1940 in Centerville, AR to Arthur Arnold Clark and Emma Gean Clark.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bob and Tom Clark; two sisters, Mary Clutts and Dorothy Fike of Russellville, AR; his first wife, Janet Kay Clark; daughter, Angela Clark; and step-daughter, Emily Weber.

Bill was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a Senior Vice President of Capital Mercury Shirt Corporation.

He is survived by his wife, Claudia Clark of the home; a sister, Debbie Baker and her husband Benny of Russellville, AR; two step-granddaughters, Ava and Elsa Weber of Dallas, TX; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Dolores Tant of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA; and much loved nieces, nephews and friends.

Bill lived life with a generous spirit and had the natural instinct to discern so that we more timid souls could dare to learn from his wisdom and by doing so experience fuller lives.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Shepherds Chapel, P.O. Box 416, Gravette, AR 72736, where he studied Gods word or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Memphis, TN.

Cremation arrangements by Beard’s Funeral Chapel.

        Thank you for your kind expression of remembrance for Bill. He often spoke of the fine engineers that worked for Capital Mercury and often of the Salem and Melbourne plants. The 15 years of our marriage was the happiest years of my life. I feel so blessed to have had each day with him.
