William Dwight Miner, 70, of Prairie Grove, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020 in Fayetteville. He was born September 5, 1950 in Fayetteville to Jack “Dub” and Joan Mills Miner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack “Dub” and Joan Miner; and a sister, Regina Miner.
Dwight was a proud Army veteran. He served as Assistant Fire Chief volunteer at the Elkins Fire Department. Dwight was a dedicated loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a member and deacon of Main Street Baptist Church in Farmington. Dwight loved the Lord and his church family.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Combs Miner of the home; daughter, Casey Dean and husband Johnny of Deer, AR; son, Andrew Miner and wife Tessa of Farmington, AR; son, Sean Miner and partner Courtney Nigh of Yosemite National Park, CA; brother, Frank Miner; sister, Teresa Singleton; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday, October 12, 2020 at Main Street Baptist Church in Farmington with Pastor Preston Beeks officiating.
Interment will follow in McCord Cemetery under the direction of Beard’s Chapel.
There is no scheduled visitation.

He was a wonderful guy. Always fun to work with. He was a kind friend who you could talk to.
Please know I’m praying for you and all the family, I’m so sorry, but know you guys made a beautiful family/grandchildren and great grandchildren ( which I adore) he will live on within them all… if there is anything we can do please let us know.. love and hugs for you all.

I had the privilege of working with Dwight when I first hired on with Bell. He was a joy to work with and just be around. I have great memories of him and I respect him as a great man.

Dwight was a wonderful Christian man. It was an honor to serve alongside him in our church in Ratcliff. My condolences to Ruth and the family.

Just wanted to let you know that you will be ok. There will always be some point that you will be angry but that wont last. The love you have for each other will always be there..
